All of the above are also true of synagogue people.
And nice academics too.
Church people also have a commitment to mutual support of the values of a community. I just returned from a get-together around Seth Godin’s book, Linchpins. The couple who organized it are church people and were great at both facilitating a discussion while also taking part, and figuring out next steps. I’m being to see that is the actual value of church communities at their best.
