In the beginning

Screen grab from the video, showing a starry night sky.

My version of the creation myth in Genesis. Make of it what you will.

Interesting. I liked how the statuettes kept moving around on the book shelf behind you.

Seriously though, this video post brings up a good number of questions. You suggest that the seventh day was indicative of the reason for creation. Could that seventh day be this day in age? That would certainly make deism very compelling. Or perhaps creation is still taking place, and God has not yet rested?

Looking at the creation story from a figurative point of view, rather than a literal, opens up the imagination and allows each of us a chance to look at God in a different light and ask ourselves and each other about God’s nature. None of us can honestly say we know for certain, but it does make for good conversation.

    Namaste.
