Lepidopterans

As we head home from vacation in Maine, here are photos of three lepidopterans (butterflies and moths) that I’ve seen in the past two weeks:

Monarch butterfly (Danaus plexippus)
Polyphemus moth (Antheraea polyphemus)
Wood Leopard Moth (Zeuzera pyrina) — dead, but still beautiful.
